Update your workspace in NCC Portal¶
Learn how to update the active NCC version in your environment.
Note
To update the NCC version, you must have at least the NCC Administrator role and be a member of the workspace. For more information, see Authorization Matrix.
You must manually initiate the update for each environment. This process lets you verify that your custom notebooks and data sources continue to work as expected before completing the update.
Steps to update your environment¶
- Open the Settings page.

Select the Workspace tab to view all available workspaces.

Find the workspace you want to update. Next to each workspace, you'll see three action buttons. If the middle button shows a red dot, an update is available for that environment.
- Select the middle button to start the update. The workspace updates automatically, and you'll receive a notification:
Workspace ... is being updated. This may take a few minutes.You can only update one workspace at a time. If you have multiple workspaces, repeat the process for each one.
Tip
You can continue to use the NCC portal while the update is in progress. The workspace will be unavailable for a short time during the update. Review your custom notebooks and sources after the update to ensure compatibility.
