Introduction

The InSpark Cloud Management Portal serves as the central hub for all InSpark services. This portal undergoes continuous development and receives regular updates with new features and functionalities.

The following services are currently fully integrated within the portal:

  • Power Platform Monitoring (PPM)
  • Managed Oxygen (MO)
  • Nitrogen Control Center (NCC)

Services scheduled for implementation in the near future include:

  • Advanced Cost Management (ACM)
  • Cloud Security Center (CSC)
  • Managed Cloud (MC)
  • Team Explorer (TE)
  • Connect365 (C365)

Portal Authorization

The Cloud Management Portal utilizes Azure Entra ID authentication, ensuring that authentication and authorization processes occur within your own tenant using trusted Microsoft technologies. This enables seamless portal activation, provided you possess the necessary permissions. For optimal user experience, we recommend using the Global Admin role.

Follow these steps to gain access to the portal:

  1. Open your web browser and navigate to: https://cmp.inspark.nl/
  2. Sign in using your account credentials
  3. When accessing the Cloud Management Portal for the first time, the following consent screen will appear:

CMP permissions 4. Organization consent option: For the best user experience, we recommend checking the "Consent on behalf of your organization" checkbox. 5. Note that this screen may appear twice due to timing considerations—this is normal behavior and does not impact portal functionality.

InSpark Cloud Management Portal Overview

After successfully authorizing the portal, you'll be directed to the Cloud Management Portal homepage. Here you can view and manage the services you currently subscribe to:

Best Practices: RBAC and CMP Role Management

The Cloud Management Portal (CMP) implements a comprehensive role-based access control (RBAC) system. As new features and services are integrated into the CMP, the available role portfolio will continue to expand to accommodate growing functionality requirements.

See Role Assignments for detailed instructions on assigning roles within the CMP.

Current Available Roles

The CMP currently supports the following role assignments:

  • Advanced Cost Management admin
  • Billing Admin
  • Billing Reader
  • Cloud Management Portal admin
  • Cloud Security Center admin
  • Events Admin
  • Events Reader
  • Managed Oxygen Admin
  • Nitrogen Control Center admin
  • Power Platform Monitoring admin
  • Power Platform Monitoring Compliance reader
  • Power Platform Monitoring reader

Future Development Roadmap

Our strategic objective is to implement both administrative and read-only roles for each service within the CMP ecosystem. Additionally, we plan to introduce granular role assignments that provide fine-tuned access control for specific service components. Currently, this granular approach is implemented selectively across certain services.

Administrative Roles

The Cloud Management Portal Admin role represents the most comprehensive access level currently available. This role grants full access to all CMP pages and, consequently, to every subscribed service within your organization.

Specialized Roles

The Billing and Events roles are specifically designed for automated processes and system integrations that require programmatic access to billing and event data. While these roles can be assigned to users, they provide limited functionality within the standard user interface.
